Primary Teacher – SEND Stockton-on-Tees

Protocol Education are currently seeking an engaging and inspirational SEN teacher to work at our client’s school based in Stockton-on-Tees. You will be delivering general class teaching across KS1 and KS2. You will be expected to carry out all duties of that of a permanent member of staff including marking, faculty meetings, parent meetings etc.

Dynamic, inspirational and an enthusiastic classroom practitioner with high expectations in the classroom as well as with others. Fully committed to learning, high quality teaching and raising standards of all students. Passionate about teaching; being able to inspire and motivate students and staff. Committed to ensuring all students reach their potential. Able to recognise opportunities and face challenges, whilst maintaining your sense of humour and care for young people. Capable of promoting partnerships and collaborative working.

The idea candidate should possess the following:

  • Experience of teaching in a SEN school
  • Ability to handle challenging behaviours whilst maintaining a positive outlook
  • Qualified Teacher status
  • DBS on the Update Service or be willing to purchase one
  • Satisfactory references covering the last 2 years as a minimum
