Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher for a position in Norwood. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to primary school students. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for education, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans.

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the national curriculum
  • Assess and monitor student progress
  • Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in school meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS certificate
  • Relevant degree in Education or related field

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience teaching primary school students
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Additional training in special educational needs (SEN)
