Job Duties:
As a Primary Teacher, your main responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging lessons to primary school students, assessing and monitoring student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, participate in school events and meetings, and contribute to the overall development of the school curriculum.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Education or relevant field
- Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
A degree in Education or a related field is required for this position.
Experience:
Previous experience teaching primary school students is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Effective classroom management skills
- Proficiency in using educational technology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students
Working Conditions:
This role involves working full-time hours on a contract basis in a primary school setting in Bromley, Greater London. You will be expected to adhere to the school's policies and procedures, participate in extracurricular activities, and attend professional development sessions as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
