Job Title: KS2 Primary Teacher

Location: Harrow, Ealing, and Brent, London

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Start Date: September 2024

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum for KS2.
  • Student Assessment: Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to help each child reach their potential.
  • Inclusive Teaching: Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning.
  • Parental Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Policy Implementation: Implement and uphold the school's policies and procedures, including those related to behavior management and safeguarding.
  • Professional Participation: Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • School Contribution: Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in KS2.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Commitment: Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Desirable:

  • Subject Specialism: Expertise in a particular subject area (e.g., mathematics, science, literacy).
  • SEN Experience: Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with educational technology and its application in the classroom.
