Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to primary school students in Havering
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit the varying learning styles of students
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Proven experience in teaching primary school students

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in primary education

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective classroom management abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

  • Work in primary school settings in Havering
  • Full-Time hours, temporary position
  • Potential for travel between school locations
