Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to primary school students
  • Follow lesson plans and maintain a structured learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Experience working with primary school students

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience with SEN students

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a primary school setting in Romford, Greater London
  • Full-time temporary position with the possibility of extension
  • Salary paid on a daily rate basis
  • Regular interaction with students, parents, and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
