Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to primary school students
- Adapt teaching methods to suit the varying needs of students
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum
- Participate in school events and parent-teacher meetings as required
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Effective classroom management skills
- Good IT skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience working as a supply teacher
Working Conditions:
The role involves working in a primary school environment, following the school's timetable and policies. Occasional participation in extracurricular activities may be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
