Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to primary school students
  • Follow the national curriculum and school guidelines
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and school management
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to enhance the learning experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong classroom management abilities

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of the primary curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Proficient in using educational technology in the classroom

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience in working as a supply teacher

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
