Job Duties:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons to primary school students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
- Ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for students
- Manage classroom behaviour and promote positive student engagement
- Provide feedback to regular teachers on students' progress and behaviour
- Complete required administrative tasks, such as attendance records and lesson plans
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience working with primary school students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different teaching environments
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students
- Proficient in using educational technology
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in special education or behaviour management
- Experience working as a supply teacher in a primary school
Working Conditions:
This role involves working on a temporary basis, covering for regular teachers' absences. The workload may vary depending on school requirements. The successful candidate must be flexible and able to adapt quickly to different teaching environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
