Job Duties
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to primary school students in accordance with the curriculum guidelines.
- Adapt teaching methods to cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Manage classroom behaviour and promote positive discipline.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create and implement lesson plans, ensuring they align with the curriculum.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to enhance the learning experience.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working as a primary school teacher.
- Excellent knowledge of the primary school curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to different teaching environments.
Education
A recognised teaching qualification.
Experience
Prior experience working as a primary school teacher.
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent knowledge of the primary school curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to different teaching environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications or training in specific subject areas.
- Experience working as a supply teacher.
- Experience with special educational needs (SEN) students.
Working Conditions
This is a part-time contract position, expected to work on a daily basis. The working hours may vary depending on the school's requirements. The role involves working within a primary school setting, providing education and support to students. The teacher will be required to adhere to the policies and procedures of the school and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
