Primary SEND Teacher (Early Years/Developmental Levels – Gateshead)

Pay: £120 to £220 per day

We’re supporting a primary SEND provision in Gateshead in their search for a nurturing Primary SEND Teacher to work with pupils working at pre-KS1 levels.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on learning, communication development and building trusting relationships.
The role
• Leading a small, well supported class
• Creating sensory activities tailored to each child
• Supporting early communication and independence
• Working with TAs and therapists to deliver joined up support
• Using calm, predictable routines that help pupils feel safe
You’ll need
• Experience in SEND, EYFS or developmental-level teaching
• A nurturing, patient approach
• Confidence adapting lessons for a wide range of needs
• A team mentality and a flexible, creative mindset

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
