Primary SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time

Pay: £90–£110 per day

Are you passionate about helping children feel understood, supported and confident in their learning? We’re recruiting a full-time Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a caring, inclusive primary setting where every child is valued as an individual.
This role is ideal for someone who understands that children with additional needs thrive with patience, structure and positive relationships. You’ll support pupils across the primary age range, helping them access learning, develop emotionally and feel safe in school.
The role
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with special educational needs
• Supporting children with communication, emotional regulation and behaviour
• Helping pupils engage with learning activities at their own pace
• Assisting the class teacher in adapting resources and routines
• Encouraging independence, confidence and positive social interaction
• Being a calm, consistent and reassuring presence throughout the school day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
