Primary SEMH Learning Support Assistant – Full-Time
Location: Sunderland
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing
We’re recruiting a Primary SEMH Learning Support Assistant to work in a nurturing primary setting supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
This role focuses on helping children feel safe, understood and ready to learn through consistent routines and positive relationships.
The role includes:
• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in class
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Helping pupils regulate emotions and behaviour
• Supporting engagement with learning activities
• Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
