Job Duties:

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities
  • Support students with their learning and development
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Supervise and engage with children during break times
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Passion for working with children
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Reliability and punctuality

Education:

No formal education required, but previous experience working with children is beneficial

Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development principles
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Basic administrative skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid certification
  • Child safeguarding training

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time hours, typically during school hours
  • Work in a primary school setting
  • May involve standing and moving around for extended periods
  • Interaction with children and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
