Role: Teaching Assistant (Primary)
Area: Newcastle upon Tyne and Surrounding Area
Pay: Up to £85 per day depending on experience
Protocol Education are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to work in Primary Schools in Newcastle and the surrounding areas.
We need Primary School trained Teaching Assistants, both entry level and experienced to fulfill a variety of roles, such as classroom based, small group work, 1:1 SEND support and general classroom support.
Schools are in need of trained professional TAs who can be flexible in their role according to the needs of the children.
We need you to have an excellent work ethic, and to understand the importance of stability for the children. You need an excellent attendance record.
The role includes:
Supporting children who may have difficulty accessing the curriculum.
Working with small groups under the direction of the class teacher or SENCO to deliver focussed intervention work.
Helping to maintain a clean, tidy and stimulating classroom environment.
Communicating with the class teacher about the successes or difficulties of the children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
