Protocol Education are currently working with a 3-form entry school in Westminster who are looking for a SEND TA to join them for the summer term 2023.

This is a full-time, term-time post which will run for the rest of the academic year.

For the strongest candidate, this may lead to a permanent position at the school.

Based in Westminster, this mainstream Primary School has a number of students with SEND who need additional support within and outside the classroom.

This school is OFSTED rated 'Outstanding' and is looking for the very best SEN TA's to join them.

The school invest heavily in their support staff and any applicants can expect the full support of an experienced and organised SLT.

About the Role:

As a SEN TA, you will be working with 1 or 2 children with ASD to help them access the curriculum as much as possible. You will assist them within the classroom and use various different teaching techniques to ensure they are progressing.

As part of this role, you will also run interventions with your students outside the classroom.

You will play a major part in the routine of these children, so it is important all applicants are reliable and passionate about supporting children with ASD.

What we need from you: 

If you have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or are passionate about improving the outcomes for young people, this is the role for you.

 As an individual you will be passionate about supporting SEND children and this will be evident in your positive approach on a daily basis.

It is desired (although not essential) that applicants have a qualification in Team Teach and experience in working with children with SEND.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
