About the Setting:
A welcoming and inclusive primary school setting that provides structured support for pupils with behavioural needs, SEMH challenges, and severe ASD. The team focuses on consistency, nurture, and clear routines.
The Role:
We are seeking an LSA with strong behavioural awareness and a child-centred approach to support a pupil (or small group) with significant behavioural needs or severe autism.
Responsibilities:

Provide consistent 1:1 support

Implement personalised behaviour plans and ASD strategies

Use visual timetables, reward systems, and structured routines

Support communication and social understanding
-
Work closely with SENCO and behaviour specialists
Ideal Candidate:
-
Strong behaviour management skills
-
Experience with ASD, SEMH, PDA, or trauma-informed approaches
-
Calm, resilient, and skilled at de-escalation
-
Nurturing, positive, and proactive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
