Protocol Education are working with a Primary School in South Bristol who is looking to appoint an English Specialist.

This school is easily reachable by public transport and holds plenty of onsite parking.

The school boasts a diverse range of facilities within the modern building to help children foster a genuine love of learning, through creative and intuitive teaching.

Your role as an English Specalist:

 

  • Working closely with other Key Stage teachers to ensure the maths curriculum is delivered to a high standard and achievable for all.
  • Planning, marking and assessment.
  • Strong knowledge of English curriculum through KS1+ KS2.
  • Confident in supporting pupils with SEND and how to support and differentiate within the mainstream classroom.
  • An advocate and inspirational leader in English.
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management, ensuring a constructive and positive environment is always enforced.
  • De-escalating situations within the classroom in the correct way certifying safeguarding procedures are always adhered, in line with school's behaviour policy.
  • Extra-Curricular opportunities and school community opportunities if desired.

Start date: September 3rd 2024.

Hours: 830am - 330pm, term time only

Location: South Bristol
