Position: Primary Assessment Specialist
Location: Grimsby
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive assessment strategies to measure student learning outcomes in alignment with curriculum standards.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and educational specialists to design and administer formative and summative assessments.
- Analyze assessment data to identify trends, areas of strength, and areas for improvement at the individual, classroom, and school-wide levels.
- Provide professional development and training to teachers on effective assessment practices and data analysis techniques.
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in assessment and evaluation to continuously improve assessment processes.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in Education, Educational Assessment, or related field.
- Extensive experience working in primary education, with a strong understanding of curriculum standards and assessment principles.
- Proficiency in administering and interpreting a variety of assessment tools and techniques, including standardized tests, performance assessments, and rubrics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and communicate findings effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
