Job Duties:

  • Provide cover for planned absences of teachers (PPA - Planning, Preparation and Assessment time)
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across different subjects and age groups
  • Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for students
  • Assess and provide feedback on student progress
  • Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support the overall educational goals

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous experience in teaching or covering lessons in a school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse students

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional training or certifications in specific subject areas

Working Conditions:

This role involves working within a school environment, following the school's timetable and policies. It may require flexibility in covering different subjects and age groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
