Job Opportunity: Post 16 SEN Tutor - Rotherham Provision

Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Are you an experienced and passionate educator with a focus on Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently seeking a dedicated Post 16 SEN Tutor to join our team at a provision in Rotherham.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Teaching qualification
  • Experience in a SEN school or college environment
  • Experience in teaching students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
  • Experience in Functional Skills is preferable
  • Interest and experience in either Construction, Hair & Beauty, Digital Media, or Sports, Health & Fitness are desirable

Key Requirements:

  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service is highly desirable
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is highly desirable

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to the needs of Post 16 SEN students
  • Support and guide students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual education plans

Remuneration: The salary for this position will be based on your experience and qualifications.
