Protocol Education are looking for a kind, patient and proactive Positive Behaviour Facilitator to join a openhearted Primary school in South Bristol, starting as soon as possible.
This is a truly rewarding, person-centred role, supporting children with additional learning needs to feel safe, understood and confident in the classroom. You may be working with pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD or other learning differences that can affect behaviour or access to learning. Every day is about helping children feel seen, supported and able to succeed in their own way.
The school is keen to welcome someone caring and intuitive, someone who can build trusting relationships and provide calm, consistent support to help pupils manage emotions, behaviour and learning.

The role includes:
- Providing 1:1 support to pupils who may need extra help accessing the curriculum
- Adapting learning alongside the class teacher so pupils can feel confident and achieve success
- Communicating professionally with staff, colleagues and parents or carers when needed
- Acting as a positive role model and using the school’s reward systems fairly and consistently
- Supporting pupils to develop positive behaviours and overcome barriers to learning using clear, calm behaviour strategies

What We Need to Get You Started?
- Passport
- Two proofs of address, such as driving licence, utility bill or council tax letter
- CV covering the last 10 years of work or education, with any gaps explained
- Two years of references, including SEN or childcare where applicable
- OSPC if you have lived overseas for three months or more in the last five years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
