We’re working with a welcoming specialist SEND school that provides education and care for pupils with complex needs. They’re looking for a calm, nurturing Teaching Assistant who understands the importance of dignity, consistency, and connection in every interaction.
This is a role where the smallest moments make the biggest difference — a smile, a breakthrough, or a new skill mastered after weeks of support.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils with physical, sensory, and communication needs
- Assisting with personal care and therapy-based activities (with full training provided)
- Helping to create engaging, sensory-based learning experiences
- Working alongside teachers, therapists, and medical staff to provide holistic care
- Encouraging independence and celebrating every achievement — big or small
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in Health and Social Care, Care Support, or Nursing
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others
- A calm, positive presence and good sense of humour
- Willingness to provide personal care and follow individual care plans
- An understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
