Are you a passionate Physical Education Teacher who loves getting young people moving, motivated and confident? A welcoming secondary school in Wakefield is looking for an enthusiastic PE specialist to join their team from January.

This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a supportive department where sport, wellbeing and teamwork are genuinely valued. You’ll be teaching PE across Key Stages, inspiring students to enjoy physical activity while building resilience, confidence and a positive mindset.

The role

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons that motivate all learners

  • Promote teamwork, sportsmanship and healthy lifestyles

  • Work collaboratively with a friendly, supportive staff team

  • Contribute to extracurricular sport where possible

What we’re looking for

  • Qualified PE Teacher (QTS or equivalent)

  • Confident teaching PE across secondary age groups

  • Positive, proactive and passionate about student wellbeing

  • Strong classroom presence and a genuine love for sport
