The role
As a PE Teacher, you will:
-
Teach Physical Education across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE PE / BTEC Sport experience welcomed)

Deliver practical PE lessons across a range of activities and sports

Teach theoretical components where required

Promote teamwork, resilience, and positive behaviour
-
Manage groups safely and confidently in practical settings
-
Differentiate effectively to support pupils of mixed abilities, including those with SEND
-
Maintain a positive, safe, and purposeful learning environment

Work collaboratively within the PE department and wider staff team
We’re looking for someone who:

Holds QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)

Has experience teaching PE in UK secondary schools

Is confident managing behaviour and safety in practical lessons

Has strong organisation and communication skills
-
Is committed to inclusive practice and safeguarding

Is reliable, adaptable, and professional

Is happy to work PAYE, with clear and transparent pay
This role is suitable for ECTs, experienced teachers, and those returning to the profession.
