Protocol Education are working with an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ primary school in the LS17 area, to appoint a dedicated Phonics Teaching Assistant. If you have experience of working with and supporting students with additional support needs, and have a calm, caring, and compassionate nature, this may be the role for you.

It is important that the successful candidate can build strong rapports, that allow the students to develop positively, and have access to SEMH support as and when needed. The ideal candidate will also have experience in supporting Phonics, and Speech and Language needs within an education setting.

The ideal candidate will have;

  • Knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Specialism in supporting with phonics and language development
  • Experience working with student that have additional support needs
  • The ability to support students in their personal and educational development
