Phonics Support Assistant

I have a school in Telford looking for a Full-Time Phonics Support Assistant, starting September 2024.

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Phonics support Assistant to join the team.  The successful candidate will play a crucial role in helping our students develop strong phonics skills, essential for their reading and writing proficiency.  This position involves working closely with teachers to deliver targeted phonics instruction and support to individual students and small groups.

  • Ideally a Level 2 qualification or higher.
  • Experience of working with children/students/young adults
  • Strong understanding of phonics and early reading development.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
