Position: Phonics Intervention Assistant
Location: Grimsby
Responsibilities:
- Implementing phonics intervention programs tailored to the needs of individual students or small groups.
- Assisting students in developing phonemic awareness, decoding skills, and fluency through engaging activities and resources.
- Collaborating with classroom teachers and educational specialists to identify students who require additional phonics support.
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting intervention strategies as needed to ensure maximum effectiveness.
- Providing regular feedback to teachers and school administrators regarding student performance and intervention outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably with a focus on literacy development.
- Strong knowledge of phonics instruction principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome learning challenges.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
