The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about promoting health, fitness, and teamwork among students, and will be able to deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons that inspire and motivate students.

Develop and implement a varied and balanced PE curriculum.

Encourage and promote physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.

Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.

Organize and lead extracurricular sports activities, clubs, and school teams.

Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

A degree in Physical Education or a related field.

Experience teaching PE at the secondary school level is desirable.

Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and current best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Pay rate is dependent on experience & qualifications

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
