Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Physical Education (PE) lessons to students
- Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans
- Assess and evaluate students' progress in PE activities
- Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities
- Provide feedback to students and parents on performance and progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the PE curriculum
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Physical Education or a related field
- Experience teaching PE at the primary or secondary level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong understanding of PE curriculum and teaching methods
- Ability to motivate and inspire students in physical activities
- Good organisational and time-management skills

- Additional coaching qualifications
- Experience in organising sports events or competitions
Working Conditions:
The PE Teacher will work full-time hours in a school environment, with responsibilities including teaching classes, planning lessons, and organising extracurricular activities. The role may involve occasional weekend or evening commitments for sports events or competitions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
