Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
- Foster a love for physical activity and healthy living through innovative teaching methods and extracurricular sports programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and assessment strategies that align with national standards.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their progress and development in physical education.
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for others both in and out of the classroom.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Specialisation in Physical Education or related field.
- Demonstrated experience teaching PE at the secondary level, with a track record of achieving positive outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of best practices in physical education.
