Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  • Foster a love for physical activity and healthy living through innovative teaching methods and extracurricular sports programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and assessment strategies that align with national standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their progress and development in physical education.
  • Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for others both in and out of the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Specialisation in Physical Education or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching PE at the secondary level, with a track record of achieving positive outcomes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of best practices in physical education.
