Protocol Education are working alongside a mixed comprehensive school for 11-16 year olds in Wiltshire. The school is looking to appoint a passionate and engaging PE teacher.

The School

The school values students culture and character through its excellent standards. The school raises aspirations and looks to build futures.

Part of the PE and Health faculty. They KS3 and 4 curriculum covers rugby, netball, swimming, football, hockey, cricket and rounders. Students also have the opportunity to try new activities that are not traditionally taught in primary schools sauch as badminton, trampolining, softball, squash, table tennis and basketball.

Job Overview

-          Plan and deliver engaging lessons throughout KS3 and KS4

-          Ensure all marking is completed with useful and beneficial feedback

-          Ensure all students are being challenged to a sufficient level in each lesson through differentiation.

-          Assist with the organisation/running of varying school fixtures

-          Work as part of the PE team and wider school teaching staff

-          Promote positive behaviour in line with school values and behaviour policy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
