Rate: £90–£110 per day

About the Role
We are recruiting a Pastoral Support Assistant to work within a specialist alternative education setting. You will support pupils’ emotional wellbeing, behaviour and engagement, helping them access learning in a positive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide emotional and pastoral support to pupils.

Support pupils during lessons and unstructured times.

Assist with behaviour management strategies.

Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Skills & Experience

Experience in a pastoral, youth work or support role.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Calm, empathetic and resilient approach.

Commitment to supporting vulnerable pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
