Do you want to make a difference in supporting young people? Are you a searching for a challenge? My client is searching for an experienced pastoral support worker to join their team in the Essex area. This is a large secondary school with a vested interest in the development & progression of its young people. With having recently developing their pastoral department, the right candidate could potentially obtain a full-time position and take advantage of the career development programmes available to further their professional portfolio. 

You will be working with both one-to-one and small groups across all year group within the school. The role involves supporting young people with pastoral support, emotional support, social support, attendance issues and behaviour difficulties. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, energetic and an excellent role model for the young people. Do you have what it takes?

The ideal candidate will possess:

-          Experience within the education industry

-          Obtain a valid DBS on the update service

-          Pastoral/behaviour support experience

-          Patience, self-motivation & resilience

-          Ready for a challenge

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
