Pastoral Support - BRADFORD 

Do you want to make a difference in supporting young people? Are you a searching for a challenge? My client is searching for pastoral support workers to join their team in the Bradford area. This is a large secondary school with a vested interest in the development & progression of its young people. With having recently developing their pastoral department, the right candidate could potentially obtain a full-time position and take advantage of the career development programmes available to further their professional portfolio. 

The role involves supporting young people with pastoral support, emotional support, social support, attendance issues and behaviour difficulties. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, energetic and an excellent role model for the young people. Do you have what it takes?

 

Job description

- Start time: 8am 

- Finish time: 3:30pm 

- Floor walks, taking students from classroom to relevant isolation rooms 

- Responding to calls on the radio & supporting the Pastoral team 

- NO PAPERWORK 

 

The ideal candidate will possess:

-          Experience within the education industry

-          Patience, self-motivation & resilience

-          Ready for a challenge

-          Able to travel to Bradford

This is a temporary role with the opportunity to turn permanent dependant on the candidate’s success on placement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
