We’re working with schools in the B10 area of Birmingham and are looking for a qualified Youth Worker to provide weekly, in-school support as part of our growing youth support initiatives.

Right now, support is needed one day per week on Wednesdays during term time. As the programmes continue to grow and develop, there’s a strong chance this role could increase in days over time.

About the role:

  • Delivering youth work support within a school setting
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with young people
  • Supporting wellbeing, engagement, and positive behaviour
  • Working as part of wider school and youth support teams
  • Contributing to structured youth initiatives that make a real difference

What we’re looking for:

  • A relevant Youth Worker qualification
  • Previous experience working as a Youth Worker, ideally within schools or similar settings
  • Confidence working with young people in a professional, supportive way
  • A calm, consistent approach with strong communication skills
  • Someone reliable, passionate, and ready to get started

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
