We are currently seeking a dedicated and caring Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in East London on a part-time basis.

The successful candidate will work closely with pupils who have additional needs, supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing both in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN

  • Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering inclusive learning activities

  • Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs

  • Help create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (school or similar setting preferred)

  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
