Qualifications

DBS on Update Service

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons to reception class students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents/guardians
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents/guardians to support student development
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching in a reception class setting

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Proficient in using technology to enhance learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN)
