Job Duties:

The Part Time Reception Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons to young students. They will create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, assess and monitor student progress, and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service
  • Experience working with early years or primary school children

Education:

A relevant Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching in a Reception or Early Years setting is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in Early Years education
  • Experience using interactive teaching methods

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
