Full Time | Fixed-Term Maternity Cover
Salary: £32,916 – £45,352 (M1 to M6)
Contract Length: Until 02/04/2027 or until the postholder returns
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to join a forward-thinking secondary school on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. About the Role

You will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across relevant key stages

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support learners of all backgrounds and abilities, including pupil premium, looked after children, SEND and higher-attaining students

  • Contribute to the wider curriculum and enrichment opportunities beyond the classroom

  • Build strong relationships with students, colleagues and parents through clear, respectful communication

  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom practice

  • Continue to develop your own expertise while supporting the development of colleagues

  • Meet all elements of the Teachers’ Standards confidently and consistently
