Job Description: We are currently looking for enthusiastic and adaptable cover supervisors to join our agency in Norfolk. As an agency cover supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and effective learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure a smooth flow of the lesson.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage student behavior and address any issues in accordance with school policies.
  • Provide support to students as needed.
  • Report back on the day's activities to the regular teacher.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments.
  • Confidence in managing a classroom setting.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
