A friendly and nurturing Nursery setting in Tower Hamlets is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. Your Role

As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Creatively engage and interact with children, supporting their learning and development under the guidance of the Room Leader

  • Help to safeguard the children in our care (full training and ongoing support provided)

  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and professional team

  • Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating play environment, meeting high nursery standards at all times


Working Hours

This role offers flexible shifts, which may include:

  • 8:30am – 4:30pm

  • 9:30am – 3:30pm

  • 10:00am – 6:00pm

  • 9:00am – 5:00pm

  • 8:00am – 4:00pm

(Shift patterns will vary, offering flexibility throughout the week.)

  • Caring, patient, and enthusiastic about working with young children

  • Creative and confident engaging children through play and learning

  • A reliable team player with a positive attitude

  • Experience in a nursery or early years setting is desirable, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
