Nursery Teacher

Protocol Education are currently working with a lovely Primary School in the heart of Hackney who are looking to add an Early Years Teacher to their team for the summer term.

The school are looking for an experienced Early Years Educator with a strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and a proven track record of fostering progress.

You will be joining a large and experienced Early Years team who are on hand to support you throughout the day.

The school benefits from an extremely strong SLT who invest in the well-being and CPD of all staff in the school.

This is a full-time post, due to start in April 2024 and extend into the new academic year.

Location:

Greater London, Hackney

Salary: 

£188 - £220 Per Day

Job Duties:

  • Design and deliver a high-quality educational programme for young children in a nursery setting
  • Create a secure, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
  • Develop and implement daily lesson plans and activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Assess and monitor children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and collaborating with colleagues to ensure each child's well-being

Required Qualifications:

  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • DBS clearance
  • Experience working with young children in a nursery setting

Education:

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience as a Nursery Teacher

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid certification
  • Specialist training in areas such as special educational needs (SEN) or safeguarding

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
