Job Duties:

  • Assist in the care and supervision of children in a nursery or educational setting
  • Support teachers in delivering educational activities and lessons
  • Help create a safe and stimulating environment for children
  • Assist with meal times, activities, and daily routines
  • Provide feedback to teachers on children's progress and behaviour

Required Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Childcare or Education
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • First Aid certification

Education:

Minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Childcare or Education

Experience:

Prior experience working with children in a nursery or school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 or higher in Childcare or Education
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

  • Part-Time hours on a temporary basis
  • Work in a nursery or educational setting
  • Potential for exposure to noise and infectious illnesses

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
