Job Title: Temporary Nursery Nurse

Location: Havering

Protocol are currently seeking a Temporary Nursery Nurse to join a lovley nursery setting in Havering. This role will be a temporary position covering a maternity leave for approximately 12 months.

Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years old in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities to support children's development and learning. • Promote positive behaviour management techniques to create a safe and respectful environment. • Communicate with parents/carers to provide regular updates on their child's progress and development. • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, and ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements: • Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent. • Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 years old in a nursery setting. • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and effective teaching practices. • Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents/carers and other members of staff. • Good organisational and time-management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
