Nursery Assistant – Primary School (Watford)

Immediate Start • Full-Time Position

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Nursery Assistant to join our warm and welcoming primary school in Watford with an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and nurturing Early Years team where your enthusiasm, ideas and dedication will be truly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily care and learning support for children aged 0–5

  • Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment for children and families

  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities

  • Promote children’s safety, wellbeing and development at all times

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high-quality Early Years provision

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for working with young children

  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development

  • A reliable, proactive approach and strong teamwork skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
