Protocol Education is currently looking for Nursery Assistants required in the Southend/ Basildon Area, for a mixture of ad-hoc/daily, short term, long term positions.

You will have the opportunity to work in a few private day nurseries, primary and nursery schools and children's centres across Essex and surrounding areas as a nursery nurse.

These nursery settings must ensure their ratio numbers are maintained accordingly and so require nursery nurse bank staff to be available for any immediate cover or staff absences.

To be successful in this role, you must be flexible to cover staff absences across several private day nurseries, nursery schools and children's centres when required. Whilst working as nursery nurse your job will be to care for the children by ensuring their personal and social needs are met.

You must be passionate about caring for children aged 0 - 5 years and have experience working in a nursery nurse job within a nursery or school setting.

You will ideally hold a relevant qualification such as CACHE, NNEB, BTEC or NVQ in Early Years or Childcare and Education with recent experience working with children.
