Experienced English Tutors Wanted!

 

Position: English Tutors

Schools: SEN and Mainstream Schools

Pay rate: £25 - £35 PER hour

Location: Hertfordshire (St Albans, Watford, Stevenage, Radlett, Hemel Hempstead and surrounding areas)

Time: 3-4 hours per day (between 9am and 3pm)/Flexible

Start date: February 2023

 

Protocol Education are looking for English tutors. This is a tuition programme to support students with Autism (ASD) difficulties and had their education and support disrupted throughout the year.

We are looking for Tutors who can work 1:1 who require support in English. Some students are operating below their age expectation and require additional support.

As a tutor, you can earn between £25 to £35 per hour. Ideally the school are looking for tutors who can come in to support students face to face.

 

We are looking for English or Tutors who can work 1:1 with students who have the following needs:

  • ·Behavioural difficulty
  • ·ASD

 

Each student will require up to 15 hours 1:1 support. We are looking for tutors who have the following qualifications and experience:

  • English specialists
  • QTS (not essential)
  • Previous tutoring work
  • Experience tutoring at GCSE English
  • Experience working with students with SEN

 

You may be required for 3-4 hours., This can be just one day or a few hours per day. A schedule can be discussed with the school and in some instances a schedule may already be set up and we can ascertain if you can commit to the hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
