We’re working with a welcoming secondary school looking for an enthusiastic Music Teacher who can bring energy, creativity, and structure to the classroom. The department is well-supported, the school values the arts, and there’s real opportunity to make music a subject pupils genuinely look forward to.

The role includes:

  • Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available if you’re keen

  • Delivering engaging lessons in performance, composition, and music theory

  • Supporting pupils of mixed abilities and building confidence through practical music-making

  • Contributing to choirs, ensembles, or extracurricular music activities

  • Maintaining clear routines and positive behaviour in the classroom

The school is looking for someone who:

  • Holds UK QTS (or is working towards it)

  • Has experience teaching Music in a UK secondary school

  • Can engage pupils through a practical, inclusive approach to music

  • Brings creativity, organisation, and a calm classroom presence

  • Enjoys being part of the wider school community
