Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons to students
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets educational standards
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback
- Organise and supervise music-related activities and performances
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Specialisation in Music Education or related field
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Music Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of music theory and practical application
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students
- Organisational and time-management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in music education
- Experience in leading music ensembles or choirs
Working Conditions:
This role requires working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The music teacher will be based in a school setting in Billericay, Essex. The environment may involve working with students of varying ages and abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
