What the role involves as a Music Teacher
You’ll teach a mix of practical and theory-based music lessons, supporting pupils with performance, composition and listening skills. The department is supportive and values creativity and pupil confidence.
Your responsibilities as a Music Teacher
- Teaching classroom Music to KS3 and KS4
- Supporting pupils with practical work and performance pieces
- Delivering lessons that enhance listening and composition skills
- Preparing students for GCSE or BTEC assessments
- Working collaboratively with the Arts department
What you’ll bring as a Music Teacher
- QTS with Music teaching experience
- Confidence leading practical lessons
- Strong musicianship and communication skills
- A warm, supportive teaching approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
